These terms govern your use of the Async Daily Standup Bot ("the Bot"), provided by People Work Life Ltd ("we", "us"). By installing or using the Bot you agree to them. If you're accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to do so.
The Bot runs an asynchronous daily stand-up in Microsoft Teams: it sends configured participants a three-field card at a set time and posts a compiled summary to the team channel. Setup and scheduling are controlled by your team lead via the config card.
The Bot is currently offered as an early-stage service and is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that prompts or summaries will always be delivered on time or without interruption — scheduling depends on Microsoft's platform and our hosting. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
You and your organisation keep all rights in the content you submit through the Bot (your stand-up entries). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely to operate the Bot and deliver the summaries to your team. We claim no ownership of it. We retain all rights in the Bot itself and its software.
Any paid tier, its price, and its billing terms will be presented separately and clearly before you subscribe. Where a paid tier exists, it is billed through a merchant-of-record / the Microsoft commercial marketplace, which handles applicable taxes. The current MVP is free to use unless stated otherwise in the app.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit, or business, arising from use of the Bot. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law. The Bot is a convenience tool and is not a system of record.
You can stop using the Bot at any time by removing it from your team, which deletes the team's stored configuration and entries. We may suspend access for breach of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
